Approval Request Window
When a user experiences a blocked application, they are presented with a window where they can request access to the software.
Beginning with ThreatLocker Windows Agent 7.7 or Mac Agent 4.0, the Request Window can be customized. Customizations can be made on any policy set to deny and allow users to request access.
Applying Customization
Navigate to Application Control > Policies.
Select the deny policy to customize the Request Window for. Many admins choose to apply this customization to the Default-Deny Application Control policy.
In the Edit Policy sidebar, toggle on "Show Notification and Allow User to Request" located in the End User Experience section.
Once that is toggled on, the "ThreatLocker Tray Notification" tab will be available at the top of the Edit Policy sidebar.
Select that tab.
Scroll down to the Request Window Appearance section.

- Make Including a Message Mandatory - Select the checkbox to require end users to include a message. Once selected, users will be unable to send a request if this field is left blank.

Be sure to click the "Save" button to save the changes. Changes will be applied after the next Agent restart.
End users will receive this customized Request Window when they receive a block from this specific policy.
