Before taking the Cyber Hero Exam you will need to ensure that you have downloaded the Honorlock Chromium Extension. Without a policy for this, the extension will be initially blocked and require an Elevation request to be allowed. To avoid this, ThreatLocker has created a Community policy for your convenience. By utilizing ThreatLocker Community, you can set up an organization-wide policy for this Chrome Extension prior to your Cyber Hero exam.

First, select the Community tab from the left-hand side of the ThreatLocker Portal.

Selecting this will bring you to the ThreatLocker Community page. This will show you several lists of pre-existing ThreatLocker policies.

To locate the Chromium Ext Honorlock (Built-In) Community Policy, navigate to the search bar located towards the top of the page.

Type honorlock into the search bar to find The Chromium Ext Honorlock (Built-In) policy.

Selecting this policy will open a window on the right-hand side of the page labeled Download Community Application Policy. Here, you can create a new policy for the entire organization.

The proper settings have already been selected for you. This will be applied to the Entire Organization with No Policy Expiration ONLY for the Chromium Ext Honorlock (Built-In) application. To download this Community Policy into your organization, select the Download button located at the bottom of the Download Community Application Policy window.

Be sure to select the 'Deploy Policies' button after downloading this Community policy. This will deploy policies for the entire organization and ensure that users have access to the newly added permissions.

A new policy for the Chromium Ext Honorlock (Built-In) application will now exist in the organization. This can be viewed in the Application Control page.
