Branding – Changing an Organization Logo

1 min. readlast update: 08.01.2024

Before getting started, there are a couple of pre-requisites.

  1. Logo must be a 100x100 pixel image (JPG format).
  2. Logo must be in a URL format ( e.g. https://www.mysite.com/logo.jpg).

How to Change the Organization Logo in the Threatlocker Portal

Navigate to your Organizations page and select the gear icon next to the name of the organization you want to change the default branding on.

The 'Update Organization' slide-in panel will appear on the right side of the screen. Locate the 'Customized Tray Branding' section of the panel.

Input the URL containing the desired image in the 'Logo' text box.

Select 'Save'.

The logo may take up to 5 minutes to fully appear. You can check if it's downloaded locally in your C:\Program Files\ThreatLocker directory, and look for logo.jpg.

Once that image has been confirmed in the directory, restarting the ThreatLocker Agent will allow the new branding to take effect. You can follow the following KB article to restart the ThreatLocker Agent:
Restarting the ThreatLocker Agent | ThreatLocker Help Center (kb.help)

The logo will now appear in the popups that your users receive when attempting to run a new application.

To reset the Organization Logo icon back to the original ThreatLocker Icon, remove the link to the branding in the portal and restart the ThreatLocker Agent.
