Important: This Advanced Setting turns off important functionality of ThreatLocker. Only use this option wsith guidance from a Cyber Hero.
As of ThreatLocker Windows Agent Version 10.7.2 or greater, ThreatLocker offers users a quick way to troubleshoot issues with their machines without needing to uninstall ThreatLocker. Selecting specific parameters will temporarily disable the selected parameters on the user's machine. This will help a Cyber Hero pinpoint the source of the machine's problem.
To apply this Advanced Setting, navigate to the 'Advanced Settings' page, then select the '+ New Setting' button to open the 'Create Settings' side panel.

Within the 'Create Settings' side panel, use the 'Setting Type' dropdown to select 'Troubleshoot Operations'.

Ensure that you select the 'Applies To' option, which specifies the level at which this Advanced Setting will be applied within the organization. By default, this Advanced Setting will be applied to the top.
After 'Troubleshoot Operations' is selected, a new section titled 'Parameters' will populate with 3 switches for users to select between:

- File Operations Troubleshooting - Turns off monitoring for Application Control and Storage Control.
- Network Operations Troubleshooting - Turns off monitoring for Network Control and Web Control.
- Registry Operations Troubleshooting - Turns off monitoring for anything relating to the Registry.
Once you have selected which of these to apply, select the 'Create' button found at the bottom of the page.
Ensure that the 'Update' agents button is selected to update ThreatLocker agents.
