ThreatLocker now offers users the ability to customize the Elevation Control Tray Notifications and Requests. To do this, start by navigating to the 'Advanced Settings' page using the left-hand side of the portal.

Within the 'Advanced Settings' page, select the '+ New Setting' button from the top left corner of the page.

In the 'Create Settings' sidebar, use the 'Setting Type' dropdown to select 'Tray Settings - Elevation Control' from the list.

Once this is selected, two new fields will populate within the 'Parameters' section: Customize Tray Notifications and Customize Request Window

Elevation Control Tray Notifications
To expand the Elevation Control Tray Notifications, turn the 'Customize Tray Notifications' switch On.

- Hide all request notifications- Used to hide notifications entirely, so users do not receive any notice of Elevation Control being approved.
- Request Notification Text - Use this field to change the text that appears in the Elevation Control approved notification.
- Use %FullPath% to denote the path name and %BrandName% to denote the organization name.
- Hide Request Elevation- Enabling this switch will prevent the Elevation Control Request notification from appearing. This prevents users from requesting access to something that is blocked by Elevation Control.
- 'Request Elevation' Button Text - Use this field to change the text that appears in the Request Elevaton button
- Hide 'Don't Show Again' Button Text - Enabling this switch will hide the 'Don't Show Again' button, which prevents users from requesting access to this blocked item in the future. They will be unable to prevent the tray prompt from appearing when this button is hidden.
- 'Don't Show Again' Button Text - A field to change the text found on the ''Don't Show Again' button.
- Hide 'this program was elevated' message - Hides the popup that displays letting a user know that a program has been elevated.
- Custom 'Application was elevated' message - Allows you to change the text displayed in the popup that lets a user know that a program has been elevated
Elevation Control Tray Requests
To customize the Elevation Control request window, toggle on 'Customize Request Window'.

- Notification Text - Use this field to change the text that appears in the Elevation Control request window.
- Use {ApplicationName} to denote the application name and {CompanyName} to denote the organization name.
- Make Including a Message Mandatory - prevent requests from being sent without a message by toggling this on.
- Optional Message Text - Field allowing customization of the text that is displayed in the 'Include a message' textbox.
- Make Including an Email AddressMandatory - prevent requests from being sent without an email by toggling this on.
- Optional Email Address For Notifications Text - Changes the text that appears in the 'Optional Email Addresss for Notifications Text' field.
- Enable Email Address Caching - Toggle this on to allow the request window to cache the last used email address and prefill future requests with this address.
- Attach A File With Request - Toggle this on to automatically attach a copy of the file with the request.
- Attach a File Text - Changes the text that appears in the 'Attach a File Text' field.
- Hide Send Request Button - Hides the button that allows users to send a request, making it so that they can't request elevation.
- 'Send Request' Button Text - Changes the text that appears in the 'Send Request' button field.
- Hide 'Log in as Administrator' Button - Toggle this on to hide the Log in as Administrator button.
- 'Log in as Administrator' Button Text - Field allowing users to change the text appearing on the 'Log in as Administrator' button.
- Cancel Button Text - Field allowing users to change the text appearing on the 'Cancel' button.
Once you have filled out all the information to your standards, select the 'Create' button at the bottom of the page. This will create a new advanced SEtting on your page. Ensure that you select the 'Update Agents' button once done to ensure this update goes to all associated machines.
