ThreatLocker Portal Home Page Overview
Overview
The Home page provides a high-level summary of your ThreatLocker environment. It is designed to help administrators quickly review security posture, pending actions, recent activity, and frequently used areas of the portal from a single dashboard.
The widgets displayed on the Home page may vary depending on your permissions, enabled modules, organization settings, and selected layout.
Accessing the Home Page
To access the Home page:
- Sign in to the ThreatLocker Portal.
- Select Home from the left navigation menu.
The Home page will display dashboard widgets summarizing activity across your organization.
Home Page Sections
Time Spent Managing

The Time Spent Managing widget displays a visual breakdown of administrative time spent in the portal.
Administrators can use the available filters to adjust the displayed timeframe and scope.

- Last 30 Days
- Scope
- All
- Users
- Pages
The total time spent is displayed in the center of the chart as HH:MM:SS.
Active Threats

For organizations with Detect, the Active Threats tile displays the number of current active threats requiring attention.
Selecting this tile opens the Detect Alert Center, allowing administrators to review and respond to detected activity.
Pending Approvals

The Pending Approvals tile displays the number of approval requests awaiting action.
This may include application requests, web requests, elevation requests, or storage requests.
Selecting the tile opens the Approval Center where pending items can be reviewed.
Tasks

The Tasks section highlights recommended or required configuration tasks for the organization.
Examples may include:
- Adding a Network Control default deny policy
- Enforcing secure login
- Configuring an Endpoint Detect Response Playbook
- And more
Each task includes a shortcut button to the relevant portal area.
Health Center Summary

The Health Center Summary provides a snapshot of environment health items that may need attention.
From the dropdown menu, any of the charts currently available on the Health Center can be selected for a quick view of the selected chart.
Pending Policy Deployment

The Pending Policy Deployment section lists policies that are waiting to be deployed.
Selecting a listed policy opens additional details for review.
Active Maintenance Modes

The Active Maintenance Modes section displays a count of computers that are currently in a specified maintenance mode
This section helps administrators quickly identify whether any devices or policies are temporarily operating in a maintenance or learning state. Select a mode to be taken to the Devices page.
Defense Against Configurations

The Defense Against Configurations section displays the same environment security rating and risk level summaries shown on the DAC page.
Select this widget to be navigated to the DAC page.
Frequently Visited

The Frequently Visited panel provides quick access to commonly used areas of the ThreatLocker Portal.
It will automatically display the top 7 pages visited by the logged in user. Select the star icon next to a page title to pin it to the top of the list.
Select any of the pages listed to navigate directly to that page.
Use the search bar in this section to quickly locate a frequently used page.
Recent Activity

The Recent Activity section summarizes recent portal activity.
Activity may be grouped by action type, such as:
- Read
- Modify
- Create
- Logon
- Delete
The activity table includes details such as:
- Username
- Date occurred
- Activity details
This section helps administrators review recent changes, user activity, and portal access events.
Customizing the Home Page

The Home page layout can be customized using the Edit Layout toggle in the upper-right corner of the page.
Widgets can be rearranged or removed. Once a widget is removed, it can be added again by pressing the plus button after toggling on Edit Layout.
Customizations will be saved under the user profile, so every administrator in an organization will have their own customizations of the home page.
Notes
- The information displayed on the Home page depends on the selected organization and the user’s assigned permissions.
- Some widgets may not appear if the related module is not enabled.
- Counts and summaries are intended to provide quick visibility and may require selecting the widget or related page for additional details.
