4.4 iOS and Android (Beta) 07/26/2024

New Features

  • Added Custom Notes feature to ThreatLocker Mobile
  • Added Elevation Control screens
  • Added dark and light themes throughout the app
  • Added Configuration Manager to the mobile app
  • Added the ability to scan a QR code and be taken directly to the target computer

Improvements

  • Updated graphics on mobile error state screens
  • Added the ability to export Unified Audit search results to CSV
  • Added Manager field to Administrators screen
  • Added additional support for inviting and creating admins with and without MFA
  • Added new menu on Network Control screen with options for Create New Policy, Domain Name Parsing Settings, and Network Control Settings
  • Made improvements to the logic of which screen is displayed on first login so Threats will display first if there are any active alerts
  • Added a new switch to beta option to make it easier for partners to test beta app features
  • Added the ability to multiselect on the Computers screen
  • Added the Add Domain Name Parsing button on applicable Unified Audit entries
  • Added new UI for errors
  • Added a new swipe right function to the Unified Audit screen that will reveal Permit Application, Deny Application and Add to Application buttons

Bugs and Fixes

  • Resolved a UI issue on Android on the Ignore Approval screen
  • Resolved an issue where Custom Notes banners would not reappear after the banner was acknowledged and the screen was closed
  • Resolved an issue in which moving a policy expiration slider and then the Elevation expiration slider caused an error
  • Resolved an issue in which applying the super admin permission to a child organization admin caused the app to crash
  • Resolved an issue in which user roles were failing to load when inviting a new admin
  • Resolved an issue in which user login timeout options set by the organization were not being honored by the mobile app

 

4.3 iOS and Android (Live) 06/24/2024

  • Added the ability to Create, Invite, and Edit administrators from the mobile app
  • Added the ability to swipe to delete admins or reset passwords
  • Retired the legacy Approvals page. All Approval Requests must now be managed using the Response Center
  • Added the ability for users to select to display the end maintenance window when using the quick swipe to start a maintenance period
  • Added support for Outbound Network Control in the mobile app
  • Added Login Settings to mobile app

  • Health Center tiles are now interactive

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved an issue in which policies were able to be promoted to the incorrect OS type group
  • Resolved an issue in which buttons were incorrectly being displayed as 'X'
  • Resolved an issue in which MAC policies were incorrectly able to be created at the Entire Organization level on the mobile app
  • Resolved an issue in which selecting to use an existing application in an approval request was causing the app to crash
  • Resolved an issue in which the app was failing to retrieve computer details
  • Resolved an issue in which the incorrect OS type icon was sometimes being displayed
  • Resolved an issue in which users could create duplicate policies by clicking the 'Create' button multiple times

4.2 iOS and Android 04/10/2024

New Features

  • New and improved Approval Center to simplify the approval process and streamline workflow, located in the Response Center.  The legacy Approval Center has been temporarily relocated to its own menu item before being deprecated.
  • Added a new Settings menu option where users can update their profile, access the ThreatLocker KB library, and logout.
  • Added additional filtering on the Application modal for 'Category' and 'Country of Origin'.
  • Added buttons linking to either the Edge or the Chrome store from Approval Requests.
  • Added mobile support for ThreatLocker Detect Any/All conditions.
  • Added the ability to copy/paste from within Approval Requests.

Improvements

  • Made UI improvements to the icons associated with Applications.
  • Updated the UI of the Health Center.  Coming soon will be the ability to interact with these tiles.

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved an issue that scanning the QR code on a child organization computer was failing.
  • Resolved an issue in which Certificate rules were being inaccurately displayed on the mobile app.
  • Resolved an issue in which the ThreatLocker Detect page was crashing after login.
  • Resolved an issue in which the super admin - parent permission was incorrectly limiting the modules that could be accessed.
  • Resolved an issue in which storage devices were not being deleted if they were tied to an inactive policy.

4.1 iOS and Android 03/18/2024

New Features

  • Added the ThreatLocker Detect module.
  • Added the ability to manage ThreatLocker Detect alerts via the Response Center.
  • Added the Remediation tab to the Computers modal.
  • Added the new Maintenance Mode, Disable Ops Alerts.
  • Added the ability to deploy policies even when the button isn't red.
  • Added the ability to submit ThreatLocker Detect policies for MDR review.
  • Added a loading animation to the ticket resolution screen.

  • Minor UI improvements to the Maintenance tab.
  • Minor UI improvments to the Computers screen.
  • Minor UI improvements to the Remediation Tab.
  • Minor improvements to the QR scanner.

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved an issue in which Approval reasons were being displayed with Base64 encoding.
  • Resolved an issue in which passwords could not be copied from a password manager and pasted into the password field.
  • Resolved an issue in which scheduling maintenance modes ahead of time was resulting in negative time being displayed.
  • Resolved an issue in which the QR scanner was not taking users directly to the target computer.
  • Resolved an issue in which the login timeout was not being honored.
  • Resolved an issue some customers experienced when trying to add 30+ applications to a single policy.

4.0.4 iOS and Android - 2/19/2024

  • Added visibility of TAPS password in the Computers modal.
  • Made improvements to how users are prompted to confirm tickets as resolved.
  • Resolved an issue in which newly created administrators could log into the app without MFA if they had not yet set up MFA in the portal.
  • Resolved an issue with dropdown filters being partially cut off in the Unified Audit and System Audit.
  • Resolved an issue some customers experienced with being unable to log into the app using SSO.

4.0.3 iOS and Android - 2/5/2024

  • Resolved an issue in which some Android users received an error message when attempting to search the Unified Audit.
  • Added an audible notification to accompany push notifications. For iOS, this audible notification will only occur while the app is open. Audible notification while iOS app is closed COMING SOON.
  • Resolved an issue with searching applications. Resolved an issue in which computers were incorrectly displayed using the OS filter.
  • Made UI improvements to the Reports screen to improve user experience.
  • Resolved an issue some customers experienced when editing search parameters on the Application Control screen.

  • Resolved 401 errors some users received when permitting approval requests
  • Resolved an issue some customers experienced with global policies not being created when permitting approvals from a child organization
  • Resolved an issue some customers experienced with hidden text when ignoring requests while using the app in Dark Mode

 

3.5 iOS and Android - 9/15/2023

New Features

  • Added the ability to specify users and groups for storage approvals
  • Added the ability to specify encrypted, non-encrypted, or both for storage approvals
  • Added the ability to input a reason when an approval request is ignored
  • Added the ability for users of child organizations to make global policies, provided they have the appropriate permissions applied to their administrator account

Improvements/Bug Fixes

  • Resolved an issue some customers experienced with the on-screen keyboard blocking the Computers screen
  •  Resolved an issue some customers experienced when using specific Android devices with the mobile app caused MSAuth to fail
  • Resolved an issue in which MAC applications were not visible when actioning MAC application requests
