Creating a Maintenance Ticket Required agent setting enables you to mandate that your admins enter a ticket number and/or notes when setting a maintenance mode via API or from the Computer sidebar > Maintenance tab.
Navigate to the Agent Settings page.
Select New Setting in the top left corner.
In the Create sidebar, select Maintenance Ticket Required from the Setting Type dropdown.
The Parameters section will include a toggle for Require Ticket Number and a toggle for Require Notes.
By toggling either of these on, a maintenance mode cannot be set via api or the Computer sidebar > Maintenance tab until the required fields are filled out.
Once you have filled out your Setting Type and Parameters, navigate to the bottom of the 'Create Settings' side panel. Select the 'Create' button at the bottom of the page to create the setting.
Press the Update Agents button at the top of the page to push this new setting to all applicable agents.
