ThreatLocker has enabled customers to monitor additional file extensions as executables via the new Advanced Setting called 'Monitor Additional Extensions for Execution'.

With this advanced setting, organizations can define a custom list of file extensions to be monitored as executables so they are more accurately reflected during monitoring, baselining, and install.

Navigate to the Advanced Settings page.

Select '+ New Setting' button to open the Create Settings sidebar.

  1. Under Setting Type, select Monitored Additional Extensions for Execution
  2. Select the Applies to (Entire Org, specific groups, users)
  3. Select to place this setting at the top or bottom of the Advanced Settings list
  4. Input the file extensions that should be monitored as executables. Click the green plus to add that extension to the setting configuration.

Continue adding until all desired extensions are accounted for.

Be sure to click the blue 'Create' button in the bottom left corner of the sidebar to save all settings.

Press the Update Agents button to deploy all newly added settings.
